Crossfit OTR is always the favorite hour of my day. Strangers quickly became friends and friends quickly became family. These wonderful people push you beyond your limits to achieve things you didn't know your mind and body were capable of.

I always thought, "I'm a runner, I don't need all those crazy CrossFit workouts." Truth is, I DID need to focus on varied, functional movements in order to improve my physical and mental strength for running and other day-to-day activities! It takes a community to support your efforts the gym and at home, and I'm thankful to have found that encouragement at CrossFit OTR.

I signed up for on-ramp because I had to see what this CrossFit thing was all about and I was getting bored doing the same thing over and over again at the gym. I learn something new every time I walk through the doors, whether it is how to do an olympic lift or how to be more efficient with body weight movements. I wish that I would have joined sooner, CrossFit OTR has given me a place that I want to be everyday.

When I did my first CrossFit workout, I thought I was going to die. Luckily, I didn't die, and for some reason I wanted to come back for more. Now I know that I kept coming back because pushing myself to the limits of my ability is a good thing. You won't know how strong you are, and you won't improve, unless you challenge yourself. Add in the awesome community and amazing coaches at CrossFit OTR and you've got the perfect place to be challenged & become a better version of you.
