Terms and conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully, as a contract between you and Westbourne will come into existence upon the date in which you pay a deposit, to reserve any self catering  accommodation.
Check-in/Check-out

Our standard check in time is from 15.00  hours, we now provide a key lock box, directions and code are sent once the balance is received, if arriving before 4.30 pm we are available to show you the workings of the holiday accommodation either telepone on arrival or press the intercom system to the front of Westbourne House, reception hours are 10.00 am to 4.30 pm Westbourne is a small family run business, there is no receptionist on duty around the  clock.

Self-catering accommodation
Upon booking a deposit equal to 50% of the total booking amount will be payable, which will be set against payment or become payable to us in accordance with our ‘cancellations policy’ (see below), the final balance will be taken 7 days before arrival from the card given at the time of booking, unless the person who made the booking advises otherwise, In addition the £50.00 cash damage key return deposit is also deducted from the given card for each of our self-catering accommodations which is returned within 7 days of departure.  All payments can be made with a debit card only, sorry Visa & MasterCard no longer accepted due to additional fess charged by card machine provider. Please see website information with regards to min stay in our self-catering accommodation.

Sorry we do not take provisional bookings
Regrettably No Pets are allowed in any of our accommodations.
Confirmation of your booking will be sent by e mail or post subject to you providing a valid e mail or postal address.
Cancellations
May we kindly advise that all deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, if the accommodation is cancelled less than one month prior to arrival the balance of your stay is payable. However we will make every effort to re book the accommodation.
We strongly advise all potential guests to take out travel insurance to cover any eventuality.
If you wish to cancel any part of your stay once arrived at Westbourne you will be liable for the full balance of your booking.
Bad Weather policy/Cancellation of Ferry
In the event of bad weather conditions or cancellation of the ferry Westbourne will fully apply our cancellation policy as above.

Self Catering accommodation rates shown on our website.
Registration
We are required by Scottish Law, to maintain a register of our guests. Residents of the United Kingdom and/or the European Union shall on check-in provide full names and addresses. All other guests must on check-in produce and provide details of a valid passport and details of their next destination. You agree that we may retain this information for 12 months.
Parking
We provide ample complimentary parking to guests subject to availability; cars and their contents are parked entirely at the car owner’s risk.

Smoking
All self catering accommodation at Westboure House Caravan Park is a strictly Non-smoking.

Liability

The liability for guests and their account is not waived and guests are to be held personally liable for any charges incurred during their stay. In the event of a booking for more than one self catering property (a group booking) the lead or registered guest (the lead guest) providing credit/debit card details is personally liable for any person, group, company or association that fails to pay all or part of such charges.

Damage to Westbourne House Caravan Park property

We reserve the right to charge individual guests or lead guests for the cost of rectifying damage which has been caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless acts of guests to our property and structure of Westbourne House Caravan Park and Self Catering Accommodation. If such damage is discovered during the stay it will be drawn to the guest’s attention but if discovered after guests have departed then we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit / debit card. We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that guests would incur to a minimum.

Termination Policy
Westbourne reserves the right, at its discretion, to terminate without notice an individual’s stay at Westbourne where deemed necessary.
